Teacher Grammy
Hi, my name is Lana Ledford, but my students call me Grammy. I teach beginners and intermediate school-aged children.
I have taught young ones in private homeschool (USA) and online. I have a 120-hour TESOL certificate as well as a TEFL Masters Certificate. Each week, I spend time in ongoing education classes to continue to improve my speaking and teaching skills.
NEW: We have been teaching children in China for many years, and we are now expanding our teaching to other countries, too!
English is my native language, but I am currently learning how to speak Spanish, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language.
I can't wait to see you in class! Let's have fun learning how to read and speak English.
My husband Jeff and I moved to the beautiful country of Colombia in 2022.

我的大女儿Ceci从3岁多开始跟着grammy一起学习英语，从第一次试课见到grammy我知道就是她啦！因为那时候Ceci还很小，她总有办法让Ceci安稳的坐下来听她讲话，她可以变出很多东西来吸引小朋友的注意，同时还会根据Ceci的水平随时调整课堂的进度和内容，Ceci每次上课前都会和grammy聊上两句。
Gail老师有着丰富的英语教学经验，她能准确的定位孩子的英语学习水平，并给予非常专业的建议和指导，加上Grammy热情的课堂互动，还有负责的课外练习辅导，她是我见过最棒的老师！
跟随Gail老师学习这段时间以来，我明显感觉到Ceci的英语进步很大，开口说的越来越多，我很庆幸Gail老师能成为我们的英语启蒙老师，我会一直跟随她。现在妹妹一点点长大，每次Ceci上课前妹妹都会跑来跟Grammy say hi，接下来妹妹也要计划安排上Grammy的reading tree class啦，欢迎更多的小朋友一起来！
